Breckinridge

This new community will bring:

• A high end grocer and quality retail to the area, keeping tax dollars in Chesapeake.
• 160 new construction jobs each year and 850 permanent jobs.
• An additional $46 million in net fiscal impact to the city over 20 years.
• More housing choices for families, young professionals, and seniors.
• Walking paths and trails, both in the living areas as well as in the 250 acres of surrounding wetlands, preserving a haven for wildlife, vegetation, and observation.

Dear City Council,   I have reviewed the Breckinridge at Western Branch proposal. It will create much needed jobs, additional tax revenues, and will keep our tax dollars in Chesapeake.  In addition, I appreciate the housing choices it will bring to the area, while keeping over 250 acres of wetlands preserved.  I support the proposed development, and ask that you approve Breckinridge at Western Branch. We need Breckinridge!
